There is a £15 hourly rate for all work. No travel costs will be added for work in Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire.

There is no Value Added Tax to be added. This applies to all prices quoted on the website. Postage is charged at cost.

Free estimates for family history research and other work such as location photography, genealogy training, family reunions and tracing living relatives can be provided. Advice on the approach to family history research in England and Wales can also be provided free of charge.

English Roots has access to a range of online records including censuses and civil registration indexes helping provide a quicker and more economical service for customers.

Customers have the option of a £350 set price for a family history book. This is very good value as family history books usually take well over 30 hours to research and write. No postage is charged for family history books.

Gift vouchers are available for your relatives and friends in multiples of £10, US$20, Aus $20, Eur €20 and other major trading currencies for research and location photography.                                                                      

Payment can be made in all major trading currencies and although PayPal is prefered other methods of payment can be arranged.
